Food Services Online Payment

Bellingham Public Schools provides an easy way to add money to a food account by making payments through the online system, MyPaymentsPlus.  If a food account balance is low, it will only take a few minutes to add money using a credit/debit card or a checking account at any time of the day from anywhere. Payments will post within one-hour to the student’s food account. Families will be charged a small fee for making an online payment. Or, families can continue to pay for school meals with cash or check at their school.

To begin the registration process, go to Food Services Online Payment. Follow the instructions to register or go straight to MyPaymentsPlus.

For questions regarding meal payments, call (360) 676-6504 or email BPS.MealPayments@BellinghamSchools.org.

School Meals Donation Process

If you would like to make a donation to offset unpaid student meal debt across the district, Bellingham Public Schools recommends you do the following:

Tax deductible donations can be made to the Bellingham Public Schools Foundation (BPSF). They have established a fund to eliminate student meal debts, in accordance with Bellingham Public School’s Meal Charges procedure 6700.

How to Donate:

The easiest way to donate is online through BPSF’s website at bellinghamschoolsfoundation.org/eliminate-student-meal-debt. Select “make a gift.”

Gifts of cash or check are also welcome. Donations by check (made payable to the Bellingham Public Schools Foundation) can be accepted at your local school office, cafeteria or mailed to the address below. Cash donations should be made in person at the District Office:

Bellingham Public Schools Foundation

1306 Dupont St

Bellingham, WA 98225

For check donations, a tax-deductible receipt will be mailed to the address listed on the check. For cash donations please leave your name and address to receive a donation receipt.

Donations can be made to an individual student’s meal account when you supply the student’s name to your school Food Services cashier.

Harvest of the Month

Harvest of the Month introduces farm fresh produce or locally preserved foods to students in Bellingham cafeterias through the school lunch program. Food Services continues to make new connections with local farmers and food producers to expand the selection of local foods. Each month educational materials are provided for students, teachers, and parents. Harvest of the Month provides a great opportunity to try new foods, talk about food choices and think about where our food comes from.

For information about Harvest of the Month visit the Whatcom Farm-to-School website.
